On Tuesday 8 March our Cottingham Cluster Primary Schools participated in the Netball Tournament hosted by Cottingham High School.

The event consisted of 6 teams playing league games against each other.  Teams entered had 5-7 competitors, mixed gender from years 5 and 6.  5 players competed in the positions of GS, GA, C, GD and GK.  The remaining were substituted after a goal was scored, during breaks or at the start of each games.  2 points were awarded for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. The team with the most points won.

This year's winners were Little Weighton Rowley Primary.  We congratulate them and wish them future success.

Andrew Kernaghan, SSCO for Cottingham led the event with the assistance of Cottingham High's School Sport Leaders from Year 10 and 11.  They helped to organise and officiate the event this year and their contribution was most valuable. Many thanks!
