We are delighted to share our Partnership Schools' success stories in the School Games Cultural Competition 2016.

Ben's entry will go forward to the Humber School Games final in July along with winning entrants from the East Riding, North and NE Lincs Partnerships.  The four entries will then be subject to an open competition with votes being cast by the public via Twitter. Anybody can vote if they use a Twitter account.  There will be a # code which will be announced on the day that the voting goes live and votes can be cast by tweeting the relevant # code.  More details on this will follow.  Please follow our Twitter account to keep-up-to-date on this and other news.  Good luck Ben!

Jake Watson in Year 6 at Willerby Carr Lane Primary School was declared our Partnership winner for the create an Oath competition, which you can read below:-

"We commit to try our hardest to be the best that we can be.  We will respect our teammates and our adversaries.  We are determined to follow the rules of sportsmanship and we will be honest and never achieve victory by cheating or trying to change the rules.  We hope to inspire others the same way great athletes have inspired us and still do, with their example of hard work and passion that drives them forward; even when facing hard times.  And finally, we will enjoy sharing the great moments and celebrate all team and individual achievements".

If Jake's Oath is declared the overall winner, he will attend the Humber School Games event in July and read it at the opening ceremony.  Good luck Jake!

Finally, the winner of the Secondary School's competition to design a Medal was won in our Partnership by Ellie Atkinson of Howden School.  Her winning design is already in production and we can't wait to see it when it arrives.  Congratulations Ellie!
