On Tuesday the 4th of December 2018 the Cottingham Cluster Primary Schools participated in a Benchball Tournament hosted by Cottingham High School. The event consisted of schools playing many games against each other with final games for positions.  Teams entered had 10 competitors, 5 boys and 5 girls from year 4 with 8 playing and 2 rolling subs. Three points were awarded for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for a loss.  The team with the most points won.

Well done to everyone involved, all teams played with passion and high levels of enthusiasm which is what we see in every Cottingham cluster event.  This year’s winners are from Westfield and we congratulate them and wish them future success.

Thanks also goes to the  Cottingham High School Sports Leaders from years 7 and 8 who helped run and officiate the event this year.
