It was a busy event at Cottingham High School yesterday with 20 teams of boys and girls from across year 7&8 taking part in the SSP Secondary Sportshall Athletics Final. The competition comprised of various track and field events such as short and long runs, vertical jump, standing long jump and standing triple jump. The fast and furious pace was only exceeded by the nail-biting finish with 2 category's only been won by 1 point. A huge well done to all the teams involved, the results are as follows

As well as all the school staff that brought teams we would like to thank Cottingham High School Pe Department for letting us host the event here, supporting with the setting up and clearing away and especially for providing the wonderful young leaders without whom these events could simply not happen.
