Welcome back to all of our Partnership Schools.  We hope that everybody had an enjoyable Half-Term break.

Our Partnership Development Manager, Rebecca D'Arcy, met with our School Sport Coordinators yesterday to update everybody about the Partnership and forthcoming events.  Pete Allison from the East Riding County FA joined us to outline the new Talent Identification Programme for players with disabilities.  Please see the links for further details about that and the exciting opportunties on offer.

Following Rebecca's attendance at the recent SGO Conference it has been announced that the Comprehensive Spending Review will take place on 25 November 2015.  We will keep you informed about the outcome of that spending review as soon as we are able to do so.

Adam Swann from Sports Development at the East Riding of Yorkshire Council also joined us to tell us about the new "Us Kids Can" initiative which replaces the scheme formerly known as "Fresh". The new scheme will be piloted in January next year.  If you would like further information on that contact Adam on Adam.Swann@eastriding.gov.uk

There is also the new "Learn to Skip" and "Skills to Skip" programmes which are available to book via ERYC.  For further details about these programmes contact Samantha.James@eastriding.gov.uk

November is shaping up to be a busy month for Partnership competitions.  We have 7-a-side football for small schools at South Hunsley tonight and Sportshall Athletics, Table Tennis and Netball in the next week.  There's lots going on so please visit the competitions page on our website for more information.
